The first home Chiefs preseason game is Aug. 13 vs. the Seattle Seahawks.
The Kansas City Chiefs look poised to make a run at the AFC West title this season, as our Chiefs blogger Jack Harry wrote earlier this week. And the team takes its first step toward putting together a winning season as training camp commences in St. Joseph, Mo., this week.
The Chiefs hit Missouri Western State University starting July 30 for the first practice session open to the public. Training camp continues all the way until Aug. 18, when the Chiefs are ready to start the season for real!
Promotional events at the training camp include sales on team merchandise, giveaways and autograph sessions with the players. Training camp is always a fun event for fans to interact with the team and see what is to come in the 2016 season.
