Chiefs vs Browns | Divisional Round Recap
The 2021 season opener for the Chiefs will be a rematch of the Divisional Round playoff game. Kansas City led 19-3 before Patrick Mahomes suffered an injury in the third quarter.
Kansas City defeated Cleveland despite not having Patrick Mahomes for much of the second half due to injury. Backup QB Chad Henne did just enough, including a quick pass to Tyreek Hill on fourth down to seal the victory.
